TELETIES Hair Brushes are designed to help detangle, style, and care for your hair. Please review the following safety and care guidelines for proper use.

General Brush Safety

Intended use
All TELETIES brushes are intended for brushing, detangling, and styling human hair. Do not use on pets or on any surface other than hair.
Small parts warning
Some brushes include removable components such as a mirror and storage compartment. These pieces can pose a choking hazard and are not intended for children under three years old.
Children and supervision
Children should be supervised when using any TELETIES brush or accessory. Do not allow children to play with removable parts or mirrors.

Heat and Styling Safety

Detangler brushes
Detangler brushes are designed for everyday brushing and detangling. They are not intended for use with direct heat tools such as flat irons or curling irons.
Vented brushes with aluminum heat plate
Vented brushes with an aluminum heat plate are designed to help speed up drying when used with a blow dryer. The aluminum plate and surrounding areas can become hot during use.
- Avoid touching the aluminum plate until it has fully cooled.
- Do not place the plate directly against flat irons, curling irons, or other direct heat tools.
- Allow the brush to cool completely before removing the mirror or storage tray.
- DANGER: HIGH TEMPERATURE HOT SURFACE. Do not touch plate while in use. Contact will cause severe burns. Allow brush plate to cool for 30 minutes before touching.
Boar bristle brushes
Boar bristle brushes are not intended for use with direct heat or on excessively wet hair. Excessive water or heat can warp natural bristles and shorten the life of the brush.

Built in Mirror and Storage Components

Remove the mirror and access storage only when the brush is cool and dry.
Keep the mirror and any small storage pieces away from young children.
Inspect the mirror before use. Do not use if cracked, chipped, or broken.

Cleaning and Care

Brush body
Hand wash only with mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not soak the brush or place it in a dishwasher or dryer. Keep away from direct heat sources.
Bristles
Detangler and vented brush bristles can be gently cleaned with a damp cloth or by carefully removing hair and residue by hand. Boar bristle brushes should be lightly wiped and not submerged in water. Always allow brushes to air dry with bristles facing down.
